Physiotherapy is all about working with the body to promote healing and helping our patients to have a better quality of life.
Our Physiotherapy team at Valley Referrals tailor each treatment for each individual patient, helping them with a range of different conditions caused by injury, illness, or disability.

Physiotherapy can help Dogs, Cats and Rabbits with the following: –
- Speeding up recovery from a traumatic incident, Orthopaedic surgery, or sudden lameness
- Improving mobility and discomfort in patients that have chronic arthritis/joint disease
- Improve movement in neurological conditions such as intervertebral disc disease
- Helping recumbent patients with maintaining muscle mass and movements of their joints
- Pain management
- Age related conditions

As well as this our Physio team can also offer advice on diet, healthy lifestyles, and exercise for their patients.
Our designated Physiotherapy room is equipped with multiple tools to provide the best possible care. Our team have access to Laser Therapy, Therapeutic Ultrasound, Pulsed Magnetic Field Therapy and TEN’s machine.
Our Physiotherapy team work very closely with other departments within our hospital such as the orthopaedic team to deliver the best possible care to our patients.
We are always happy to provide help and support to referring vets with management or decision making with these types of cases.
