Valley Referrals is equipped with a dedicated Soft tissue surgery department. We have a team of experienced and well trained surgeons and nurses who are able to manage a wide variety of surgical conditions.
Our facilities within soft tissue surgery include: –
- Dedicated surgical suite comprising of 2 operating theatres, prep area and equipment store.
- Digital radiography and Computer Tomography (CT) on site
- Surgical video endoscopy facilities
- Large walk-in recovery kennels with individual lighting, climate control
These facilities allow us to tailor each patient’s individual needs and provide personalised treatment plans.
Our team are happy to accept referrals for a wide variety of soft tissue conditions including
- Oncological staging and excision;
- Head, neck and upper airway surgery
- Thoracic surgery
- Abdominal open and laparoscopic surgery
- Urinary tract and lower GI procedures and
- Wound management and reconstruction
We are also happy to provide help and support to referring vets with management or decision making with these types of cases.
Our surgery department work within the wider team at Valley Referrals to offer a complete patient treatment package. We have onsite 24/7 veterinary supervision ensuring patients that are having surgery with us can remain on site before, during, and after their procedure. They will receive around the clock veterinary supervision and will not be required to transfer to other off site facilities for any ongoing care.
